This is a fantastic large Vintage Abstract Painting, signed Marianne Grumwald Scoggin (1913'-2002'). This Original Fine Art Painting was done with Oils on Stretched Canvas. Painting is signed in the lower right hand corner, as well as on the back. Painting is Framed in what looks to be it's original gilt style wooden period frame. Signed (Label on back) includes Title "Abstraction". A large striking piece, perfect as a focal point. Scoggin was a member of the Aurora Art League for many years. Painting also has a label on the back identifying a gallery in Evanston, Illinois. Painting is in excellent vintage condition, with definite, though only very subtle signs of age & wear.
