1908 confirmation certificate..day of confirmation issued to alice elizabeth knauff born feb. 16, 1892 confirmed april 12, 1908..emanuel lutheran church baden pa..the certificate is beige, gold & black..original wood frame with beaded design wood border..the frame is 11" x 14"..the fame is a black brushed gold color & some of the beaded wood edge is chipped in 7 places, around the edge..the wood & glass have been cleaned, the certificate has a new backing, dust cover & wire hanger..please know the town in pennsylvania looks like balen but i find no place in pa. by that town name so maybe it is supposed to be baden & with the ink & handwriting the d looks like an l, i cannot be sure...
