This Collector Plate is one of the 12-piece plate series by the Danish artist Bjorn Wiinblad for Rosenthal. Each plate illustrates the adventures & travels of the Prince of Persia from the tales of the Arabian Nights. The long journey in search of his bride takes the Prince along many tortuous paths fraught with danger. This plate is MOTIF #2 -"The second magician brings the King a horn which can play the most beautiful music all by itself." The plate is in a cobalt blue & painted with rich colors & gilding throughout. The plate is approximately 6 1/2" wide. The plate is in perfect condition without any flaws as it has been kept in the box & never displayed. Any lines, glares, shadows or white spots are reflections in the photos - it is perfect.
