Only the care & attention is unwavering. Please expect a genuinely one-of-a-kind piece. How it's made: The cast in wood process is a method of forging 18k gold in hand carved wooden boxes. It is an old technique, used by the Ancient romans, & has not been seen for a thousand years or more. At Rigby Leigh, we have re-developed this technique & are the only ones in the world working this way. This technique leaves the ring with the shape & finish of the natural wood grain, for a uniquely organic look. It also means each piece is unique & un-repeatable. No two pieces ever can look the same, because it is all down to the natural grain. Each piece is then presented in a handmade wood box, made out of the wooden crucible it was cast in. This box beautifully preserves the moment in nature captured in your piece, a beautiful keepsake or an unforgettable presentation piece.
