New without tag linen tea towel is signed Vera with her ladybug logo on the front. I would date it about the 1960-70's. Vera Neumann (1907-1993) was a popular artist & designer in the 1960-80's. Her designs are making a comeback 50 years later. Vera used bold colors & design on this unique kitchen towel. Great one to display. Background is deep blue color, & the design features turquoise flowerpots with growing herbs. They are identified below each pot. The plants nicely detailed in browns, yellow gold & green. Designs are repeated on each half of the towel. They include sage, chives, oregano, parsley, mint, basil & dill. I especially love the hanging chili ristras in turquoise blue.
