Countertop advertising display box for The Eagle Lock Company Terryville, Connecticut. Vintage c1940s with amazing red color with yellow graphics & lettering. Top has Eagle logo & front has company name. Inside has compartments with some dividers missing. The lid is held open with a chain to display locks. The inside of lid has brass display tags that would designate what lock was in each compartment (NO LOCKS INCLUDED). Box is held together by finger joints at each corner. in good shape for the age but has some ware, scratches & stains as seen in the very detailed photos. Some dividers are missing & there are random drilled holes on inside of lid but I am not sure what they may have been from.
