This is a Railroad watch lookalike of a quality 17 jewels. Swiss made from around the 1930's. The movement is ticking very loud & strong, (surprisingly loud) showing how well this watch is functioning. Fully cleaned, oiled, & tested the watch keeps great time. This is a high quality movement with a well built & adjusted balance wheel for accuracy. The watch is built to mimic or model after the common American Railroad designed pocket watches at the time. The dial is enamel & in perfect shape. The original glass crystal is in near perfect shape. The case is a brass alloy & has a nice cast pattern around its edges, looks hardly used. This watch all said & done is a really nice piece, made with quality parts it can last a very long time. cleaned, oiled, tested, & ready to be used every day.
