It is bear #D-8606 & the Certificate of Authenticity is signed. Only 100 of these were made & this one is #36 out of 100. He has a vintage cotton floral & wool scarf around his neck & the matching floral fabric on his paws & feet. He is fully jointed (legs & arms move), made with the finest mohair & stuffed with excelsior. This teddy was made from high-quality mohair plush from the traditional plush toy factory gebr. Hermann made in Hirschaid. The Hirschaid teddy bears with the red Hermann Teddy Original seal are coveted collectors' items among bear lovers from all over the world. Just like in grandfather's time, the teddy bear is still hand-filled, which requires skilled employees to handle the funnel & filling iron skillfully.
