Remastered from an early 20th Century Fashion textile by French fashion designer Paul Poiret. Poiret was a pioneer in Art Deco design & some of his most famous designs are the Kimono-sleeved coat, the Hobble Skirt, & the Lampshade dress. This print is wonderfully vibrant & has a unique style similar to Matisse. Like most textile samples of the time, the original was painted in gouache.
