Black Vintage Carlo Bartoli for Bonaldo Italy 'Sofia' Chair A sleek multipurpose foldable chair designed by Carlo Bartoli at the end of the 80s, the piece comes in a hairpin-shaped tubular steel frame powder-coated black with a black circular rubberised plastic seat & a flowing, curved backrest. It would make for a perfect dining chair, office, studio or desk seat or even as a garden / patio addition as long as it will be protected from the elements (such as rain, snow, ice, humidity in general). Can be easily stored as it is foldable. Origin: designed in 1989 by Carlo Bartoli, produced by Bonaldo Italy during the early 90s. Maker's mark under the seat. Condition: in good vintage shape. The seating shows some scuffing & scratches especially along the edges, common with use. The frame is in good condition with some small rust spots visible in image nr. 6. Folding mechanism works freely, the entire chair is structurally intact & stable, no loose parts.
