This is a vintage, new-old-stock, US Navy, sweetheart, pillow-cover souvenir from Admiralty Island, Alaska. It is a traditional, military, square, Sweetheart pillow cover measuring 16 inches by 16 inches. It features pink & red roses with a sweetheart poem on a blue, silk-ish background trimmed out with fringe all around. The blue fabric has light & dark areas probably due to age & storage, but really does not take away from the look of the piece. These souvenirs are meant to slip over a pillow then sew it closed.
