Shown is a group of 7 industrial Railroad workers toiling away in their daily work, underground, several levels down from street level. Oil on Masonite board. Unsigned. He rarely signed his work. Unframed. Colors: Brick Red, gray, black, sepia, brown, white This was obtained directly from the family of Forrest Cooper when his estate was liquidated. A similar oil painting by Forrest Cooper with a railroad workers scene sold in 2005 at Freeman's Auction house in Philadelphia. I will send this information to the buyer of this painting.
