This trio of brothers & sisters are three building blocks to a happy plant. Your purchase will have one bag of mixed half kelp meal & half worm castings along with one bottle of sulfer-free Blackstrap Molasses. Organic kelp meal is very rich in minerals, trace metals, amino acids & carbohydrates. Worm castings are from Happy Worms. Made from cow manure. No fillers. Approved for certified organic growers. Vitamins & minerals - with iron, potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc, & other micro-nutrients, Sulfer-free blackstrap molasses should be considered a necessary fertilizer. The size of the bottle of sulfer-free blackstrap molasses will vary, as follows: 1 cup casting & kelp = two ounce bottle 2 cups casting & kelp = two ounce bottle 4 cups casting & kelp = two ounce bottle 12 cups casting & kelp = four ounce bottle The medium flat rate box option will be bagged & packed full. Includes 8 ounce bottle. It is very important that when you mix these together, do not just mix & store. After 24 hours all the good workhorses (microbes) that are working so hard with the molasses will begin to drown & die. (Microbes feed on the sugar in the molasses.) Only make what you will use within 24 hours. Once in the soil, they will continue to work hard at building the soil for healthy plant energy but if they are left in the water, they will die. The other option is to put a aquarium/pond aerator in the tea mixture to keep the water circulating air. Let aerate 48 hours & then spray/water. Average use: Mix 3 - 4 ounces to one gallon water to make a worm casting/kelp tea for watering or foliage spray between weekly waterings. Give your plants help of energy & vitality! 2 Tablespoons of sulfer-free blackstrap molasses added to 1 gallon of warm water. Mix thoroughly. Water around the base of the plant and/or use it as a foliage spray in between regular waterings. Natural Insecticide - 1/4 tsp sulfer-free blackstrap molasses to 1 quart water as a foliage spray will act as a natural insecticide For instance, mealybugs & aphids will die due to the high sugar content of this molasses. Excellent fertilizer for all plants Earthworm castings provide microbes that help plants take up nutrients. Will Not Burn Plants Castings contain natural plant growth hormones (auxins & cytokinins) causing plants to grow faster & develop better roots. Research states castings are low analysis (NPK) fertilizer but out perform chemical fertilizers with much higher analysis & without causing pollution from fertilizer runoff.
