Listing is for a set of 8 hand painted floral porcelain plates. Each plate is hand decorated with sweeping garlands of pink roses, violets, & pansies. Diameter is 8.75" No marks identified. Based on the floral design, I believe they are French & 19th century. The notches detail is similar to a marked Limoges set I sold recently. Excellent condition showing minimal & age appropriate wear. A slight hairline extending from the rim of one plate. Otherwise varying degrees of gilt loss; the hand painted floral detail is in amazing shape & shows little in the way of losses or flaws.
