Group photograph of young girlsall dressed in whitelady chaperones. Based on dress, this appears to be an event in the early 20th century. Note the style of the girls dresses & the hats of the ladies. We find only one man in the picture. in the background is an event tent & the girls are posed facing away from it. We can see others in the tent. in the foreground, almost as a distraction, is a sapling. We wonder if this was an Arbor Day event & the girls had assisted in the planting of the tree. Otherwise, why is it sticking up in the group portrait? That is the fun of unidentified photosimagining the story behind them. The photo is glued to a gray photo mount.
