Aric Snee Signed Studio Art Glass Vase Corning Museum Of Glass & Steuben Glass Artist Aric Snee Cranberry Orange Blown Art Glass Vase Excellent condition studio art glass vase, no damage. Measures approximately 8-7/8" inches high, 5-5/8" wide & 3-3/8" across the top wit a 2" opening. Signed on bottom of base. Heavy blown art glass, weighs 5.25 pounds. Aric Snee has worked glass in studio, academic, & factory environments, & sees a rich connection in all of these experiences. After studying glass working at Salisbury University in Salisbury, Md., & the Canberra School of Art in Australia, Snee worked in several private studios in Brooklyn, N.Y., where he began to develop a dialogue between studio glass & his traditional factory training & technique. Snee has also worked as a master glassworker at Steuben Glass in Corning, N.Y., while pursuing his own interests as an independent artist. He subsequently received a Master of Fine Arts degree in Sculpture from Alfred University in New York, & currently works as a gaffer at The Corning Museum of Glass.
