A gorgeous blue & white jug from the English manufacturer George Jones & Sons, dating from the early 1900s. This is the Abbey 1790 pattern which features images of romantic abbey ruins front & back, & a decorative frieze of scrolls & leaves on the top & on the handle. It stands about 14cms (5.5 inches) tall. Manufacturer's mark on the base. Excellent antique condition. A beautiful jug to use for its original purpose or for flowers, or just to display.
