Measures approximately 2 inches across & just under 3 inches tall. in subdued colors. - The United States Army Military Police School Shoulder Sleeve Insignia, or unit patch, was originally approved in June 1960 for the Provost Marshal General Center & shortly thereafter was redesignated for the Provost Marshal General's School on 23 October 1962. On 21 July 1965, the patch was redesignated for the U.S. Army Military Police School. Green & gold, respectively the primary & secondary branch colors of the Military Police Corps, are the only tones used in the design of the Corps' unit patch. A pair of crossed pistols Model 1806 Harper's Ferry flintlocks, to be preciseare surmounted on a torch in the middle of the insignia; they are taken from Corps insignia of branch.
