Description
A vintage 1950 Vogue sewing pattern, 7031, for a "new look"-style dress with a fitted waist, wide flared skirt, button front bodice/blouse, & a shaped shoulder yoke, forming cap/kimono sleeves & a portrait/sweetheart neckline. The ruffles trimming the yoke are cut in one with the blouse fronts; there is also a gathered detail at the sleeve seam. A versatile & flattering dress style - depending on the fabric, it could be a day, afternoon or cocktail dress. Size: 14 bust: 32" waist: 26 1/2" hip (7" below waistline): 35" Condition: The pattern has been cut, & is complete, in very good condition. The envelope is also in very good condition, except that the flap is torn (nothing missing). The pattern has been stored (and will be shipped) in an archival-quality poly bag, with an acid-free backing board. Note: This is a "perforated," non-printed pattern; markings are indicated with cut notches & perforations on the pattern pieces.
