Do you love where you live, where you grew up, where you go on vacation? Do you have friends or family that just moved to a new home, town, state? Our reclaimed wood map is the perfect way to celebrate where you live, your friends live, or where you wish you were lying on the beach! Our custom frame is made from maple wood, is stained with our homemade Barn Wood Coffee Stain, & is sanded along all edges for a distressed, rustic look. The exact frame color for each map varies slightly & is unique based on the grain & cut of the frame. The overall look of the frame, as shown in the photos, has hints of both gray & beige - every frame will be unique in both coloring & grain. Each state is cut from reclaimed wood - the wood will contain scratches, dents, holes, knots & other imperfections. We think this adds to the beauty of the map & do not attempt to hide those features. We can add a little wood heart or star showing the location of the town you'd like to celebrate. The plaque shown can say anything you'd like, up to 3 lines of text. The heart or star & plaque are all painted with the same color chalk paint as the background. The completed piece is approximately 16" x 12". The plaque is approximately 4.5" x 1.5" x .25". The finished product is wrapped in brown craft paper & tied with a twine ribbon, so it's ready to give as a gift when you receive it or can be mailed directly to a friend or loved one. For customization of your RUSTIC map We will need to know the below information - you can enter it in the personalization section. Some versions of Etsy do not support the personalization section, so if you do not see it when placing your order, you can leave the information for us in the "note to andersonrustic" section at checkout. Please include the following: 1. Would you like a wood star or wood heart placed on the map? 2. What is the location for the star or heart? 3. What text would you like on the plaque? You can have up to 3 lines of text. The text will be centered on the plaque & the top line will be larger with the 2nd and/or 3rd lines in a smaller font (unless it's a quote & then we'll make it all the same). Please let us know if you have any specific requests. 4. We have a variety of woods that we use for our reclaimed wood maps. If there is a particular wood you love, please let us know & we will make every effort to find just the right coloring. Please specify if you would like "dark toned wood", "light toned wood", or a mixture of both. Each frame & reclaimed wood used for the state will look slightly different in color & character as the pieces of wood are unique.
