Bermuda blue, ice blue & blue aurora borealis rhinestones pool in the "Blue Lagoon" by D & E for Sarah Coventry, circa 1960s. Large shield shaped brooch in rhodium plate features two inner rows of blue chatons framed by blue ab marquise rhinestones topped with a large blue ab chaton. One of Sarah Coventry's well known, higher end pieces, one can see the influence of DeLizza & Elster's work (famous for it's Juliana line) in the brooch's design, materials, color combinations & workmanship. The brooch measures approximately 2 3/4 inches x 1 3/4 inches Condition:: Mint just needs cleaning. I leave that up top the customer. The piece displays very well. The piece is stamped Sarah Cov with a copyright mark as well. A great addition for your collection.
