Stunning Vintage Collectible Girard Perregaux Gyromatic 39 Jewel wrist watch. This watch has been a real project for us. The movement was completely serviced. It has been disassembled, cleaned, oiled & timed. The face has been redone by Kirk Dial & it is perfect. New leather band, new crystal & beautiful gold case by Wadsworth with a very unique screw back case. This takes a special tool too open it, that I do not have & was closed by our watchmaker, so I cannot open the case for a video of the movement. Our watchmaker even had a difficult time getting it open & forgot to take a photo of it when it was open before he returned it to us. As of now, it is a beauty with a great running automatic movement keeping great time. They made very high quality watches & my hope is this is close to what the watch was when it was new.
