I have taken a newly purchased dish & hand coiled a basket around it. The two were made for each other & are sold together. Bake up your best casserole & bring it a friend with ease! This set features red & taupe colors. The oval baking dish is an 11 inch LeCreuset pottery baking dish. The tag says that it is dishwasher, oven, freezer & microwave safe. It has two small side handles & is a lovely red on the outside...creamy tan inside. The basket carrier has been handcrafted to match the dish. Its colors are red & neutrals in cream, beige & taupe. The snug fit & high overhead handle makes it an easy combo to transport,even when the dish is hot. & once you arrive at your destination, this pair makes a great presentation at any special dinner. Bring it to the potluck supper, gift it as a housewarming or present it as a hostess gift with your favorite recipe inside. I have photographed it next with an apple so you can more easily gauge the size. & color My baskets are made by the coiling method of basketry. Strips of fabric (both new & recycled) are wrapped around an inner cording as the shape is formed. The inner cording makes them sturdy. Each one is entirely handmade with no machine stitching.
