Wonderful faded ruddy red ground, with roller printed bird , floral & bow design. The fabric is a medium to heavy weight cotton with a small amount of linen in the blend. The top has a tape on the back top edge & is gathered, , as this would have been used as a bed valance with an inner & and out valance. Can you just imagine what this bed would have looked like ? There would have been matching side curtains for sure! ( I wish I had found them together! ....at the time of listing, I have a matching valance to this , with a slightly different construction, please see the link below.) This textile is lightly scalloped along the bottom edge. The depth is approx. 40 inches at the side CONDITION: This piece is in as found , not freshly laundered condition. This textile is faded beautifully with time. It's in wonderful condition indeed!!
