Walter Bosse first started producing his collectible figures in the late 1940s, starting with pottery & moving into brass. He used a unique method of acid-etched patina on polished brass; the patina is polished off to reveal shiny brass beneath. Great example of an Austrian brass fish plate. This modernist fish figurine from the 50s is in great condition with good patina. Could be hung on the wall with a small plate hanger for a fun accent!
