Our mug references & honors the legacy of Indigenous protest, activism, & resistance that runs deep throughout this continent. The two protest signs printed on the mug are in reference to the 1974 Diné protest of three Diné who were beaten & killed by white teenagers in the town of Farmington, New Mexico. The signs read: "If only custer could see us now" & "remember Wounded Knee".
