An eternal flame to keep you warm. This one of a kind design & features a carnelian stone held in place by a solid raw brass bezel cut into flames with a sterling silver backplate & ring band. The stone glows inside the flames & creates the effect of a tiny fire, a burning coal, or a mini lit torch on your finger. The band features a thicker 10 guage wire that has been hand hammered for more rustic texture. I added a patina to give the details & texture more depth & add to the rustic nature of it's design. Patinas change over time by the wearer so your ring will eventually shine & darken in a pattern specific to you. This beauty looks great alone or stacked with my sterling textured beaded band. Please remember to remove your jewelry before bathing/showering, swimming, doing rigorous physical activities, or working with harsh soaps, lotions or any chemicals. Patinas change over time by the wearer so your piece will eventually shine & darken in a pattern specific to you. I do not seal my jewelry with any lacquer or waxes. If you'd like to get the shine back on your metal pieces without using any chemicals, you can gently rub them with a little piece of Extra Fine Steel Wool Grade #0000. Keep in mind, rubbing the black patina areas with the extra fine steel wool will remove the patina & make those parts shiny metal. Do not use steel wool on any stones as it can permanently scratch them. Sterling silver, brass & copper are metals that will tarnish & react to their environment. Proper storage can help prevent this. Keeping your jewelry in an airtight container is best, as the air & humidity can speed up tarnish. Wearing your pieces as much as possible will help keep them tarnish free as your skins natural oils help protect the metals from tarnishing. Extra Fine Steel Wool Grade #0000 also helps to remove tarnish.
