Made to order, solid hardwood automatic writing planchette with brass fittings. 9" long, 6" wide, 1 ¾" tall Pre-dating the more commonly recognized spirit talking boards (Ouija) by several decades, automatic writing planchettes were a tool for communicating with the spirit world. Used by either an individual or a group, these simple devices allowed those at a séance to write out messages from the attending spirits. Participants seated at a smooth table covered with paper place their hands on the planchette & let the spirits guide their movements. The pencil run through the planchette transcribes the message onto the page. I build each of these planchettes to order since I do not have the space to stock every possible variation. Choose from the selected woods & either traditional brass, or silver nickel-plated hardware. Every land has tales of trees that are sacred to their culture. Like crystals & herbs, every tree possesses its own unique energy or healing qualities. Friends have trusted me to hand-craft their wands & other implements for years because of nearly a lifetime of woodworking skill & decades as a metaphysical practitioner.
