Miniature M. J. Hummel Tea Set Auf Wiederseh'n! Farewell Vintage Goebel A very pretty, 11 piece miniature tea set. M.J Hummel from Goebel, in excellent condition. Artwork features a small girl in period costume with a basket, flowers & a sleeping lamb. The saucers, plates & tray all have gold trim around the rim. Set consists of a teapot, creamer, lidded sugar bowl, serving tray, two plates, & two tea cups with saucers. Tea cups & saucers - two saucers are 2.75" in diameter, solid porcelain white with gold trim on the rim. The two cups are 1.25" tall, 2.625" from handle to opposite rim, & 2" in diameter. Cups have artwork on one face. Plates - two plates have artwork in the center with gold trim on the rim. 3.75" in diameter. Serving tray - artwork in the center, gold trim around the sculpted rim, pierced handles, & decorative sculptured decor around the rim. A very pretty piece. 5.5" by 4.625". Teapot - artwork on one side. 3.5" tall, 4.75" from handle to pouring spout, 2.75" wide. Lid is fixed in place. Creamer & sugar bowl - each piece has artwork on one side. Creamer is 1.5" tall. Double handles on the 2" tall sugar bowl. Lid on sugar bowl is removable. This is an elegant, petite tea set that displays beautifully. Would make a great gift for a young girl.
