Beautiful antique ABP brilliant cut glass whiskey jug. The jug is on a unique narrow blank, reminiscent of Libbey's Eulalia blanks. It features a large 12 point hobstar cut on both sides. The hobstar has rayed stars cut onto hobs in a circle around the center of the hobstar. Under the spout is a smaller hobstar surrounded by mitred fields, fans, fields of cut cane pattern & cut silver diamonds. Below the the triple notched applied handle is a similar hobstar patter as under the spout, The neck is fluted with notched edges & the base is cut with a large hobstar. It is topped of with a lovely faceted stopper. The whiskey jug measures nearly 9 1/2" with the stopper, 8" without, 5 1/2" in diameter & 4 1/2" wide. It is in excellent condition with only a couple tiny flea bites that I could find hidden in the pattern. The handle is solid & free of any heat checks.
