Very unusual & beautiful! Authentic ~ Old ~ Hand Etched China into the brass on bottom. All really amazing & this is a great item for anyone who has a love for this type of Elephant Claw Bell. I have never seen one on a stand like this Solid Brass Elephant Claw Bell on Stand. Small Claw Bell measures 1 3/4" across & 2 1/4" from top to bottom. Really detailed with beautiful etching & has a nice tingle type of ring. Original clanger inside. The base of the stand has Chinese symbols or writings, see photo. Footed stand. Feet are 1/2" base to surface. The stand itself appears to be a pressed pattern in lieu of etching but it is beautifully pressed as well Has a naturally occuring patina which takes long amounts of time to acquire. I don't believe it should be polished but will leave that up to the buyer :) Stand is 6 3/4" tall at tallest point & is 4 3/4" wide at widest point.
