As the Grower of the raw material, we care for the alpaca herd year round, feeding them, cleaning up after them, maintaining pastures & barns, taking care of routine health needs, & shearing them once a year. Once the fiber is collected, we prepare it for various uses by sorting through each fleece & cleaning out any debris. Each fleece is then sent on for it's own particular best use, whether it be a fleece show, sent to a mill for yarn or roving, sold as raw fleece for hand spinning or sent to the NEAFP fiber pool.
