From my own personal collection, this figurine measures close to 10 inches long & the pics of colonial figure done in bisque porcelain with muted pastel tones. I have owned this for close to 30 years myself. A helpful Etsy customer shared that this is actually a 19th century Grafenthal German bisque piece. The piece is very sweet & shows the figure holding a ribbon of some sort with very sweet & delicate flowers on one end. On the other end, the ribbon ends, & honestly, at first I thought it might have been where something was broken off. But when I feel the edge of it it feels finished as if it was meant to be that way from the original time it was manufactured. I'm going to include photos & let you be the judge. I'm happy to provide more photos for you if necessary. Just ask. The figure is very sweet, & it's actually depicting a boy rather than a man, & I've cleaned it up a little bit but I'll leave final cleaning for the next owner. On the bottom backside of the figurine, there is an indention to indicate a hallmark.
