Superb hand made Italian Majolica jug / pitcher from Spoleto, on the outskirts of the Deruta region in Italy. Skillfully painted grape cluster / grape leaves. Signed on bottom "CERAMICHE UMBRE SPOLETO CARLA B". Good condition with a few tiny chips on the spout (one at the top looks like it may have been touched up with dark pigment to mask it) & light crazing visible only when wet toward the bottom of the jug on the 'back' side.
