Beautiful antique woodblock print by Chikanobu Yoshu. It is the right part of a triptych of Chiyoda Castle (Album of Women). A Japanese acquaintance familiar with woodblock prints helped provide detailed information on this work. The frame measures 19.5" x 14.25" & it is in very good condition. I have more wonderful woodblock prints & Asian art available as well. This is the specific information I received regarding this print: Toyohara Chikanobu (豊原 近延, 1838-1912; singed Yōshu Chikanobu hitsu drew 揚州 近延 筆); the series title, Chiyoda no Ōoku (千代田乃大奥, the great inner part of the Chiyoda Castle, i.e., the former Edo Castle, women's quarter where the formal wife as well as concubines of shoguns & those servants who took care of their lives are housed, no men were permitted), the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York gives the title "Chiyoda Castle (Album of Women)"; the subtitle, 吹上の夕富士 Fukiage no yū Fuji (Mt.
