Description
The details of this carved figure really is incredible. The face, the robes, the hands are impeccably carved from boxwood, so delicate. The figure stands on a darker wooden base. One arm is positioned upright so the robes drape beautifully. in the other hand there is a small ball between the fingers. The carving is in excellent condition although I think at one time there was a staff or pole in the raised hand. Measures 7 1/4" tall & the base is 4 1/4" square.
