This makes them durable & water resistant but not waterproof. Don't worry if you get caught in the rain or drop them in the water but don't expose to long direct contact with moisture. If your earrings get wet just dry them gently & keep using. Avoid contact with chemicals, perfume, hairspray, etc. Store earrings in a dry & preferably dark place to protect paper from discolouring, ideally in airtight bag & their gift box.
