Caroline Burnett signed, American listed artist, original impressionism oil painting on canvas of a Parisian street scene. She did not name her paintings & she painted some streets over & over from different angles. I'm sure this is an original & not a fake. Good vintage condition for age & use but will need to be cleaned by a professional. No spotting on back canvas but does have a very small hole (see photo) with tape over it. The frame has some very slight dings, scratches & dents plus linen on frame is overall good. Please see the larger paintings by her that I have in other two other listings, one with the Notre Dame Cathedral & another is the Eiffel Tower in the background. Dino & plastic blue man not included. She was a member of the Societe des Beaux-Arts in Paris & exhibited with the Societe Nationale des Beaux Arts in Paris in 1898. This society was founded in the 1880s as a rival to the well-established group sponsoring the 'oficial' Salon. The SNBA held their exhibitions at the Palais des Beaux Arts on the Champs-de-Mars.
