Tashiro Shoten Ltd Japan 1930s Refrigerator Canister Container Bucket Ceramic with Flower Design & Woven Wicker Handle Vintage refrigerator canister from approximately 1930s. Pottery hand painted with flowers of green, blue & rose. Woven wicker handle. Made by Tashiro Shoten LTD in Japan. Canister is in good vintage condition, especially for being nearly 100 years old! visible crazing throughout. There is a small chip on rim of lid that I assume came from the handle. When the handle is in the raised position it is barely noticable. See photos. Canister measures 5 3/4 inches tall & 6 inches diameter at its widest point.
