This is an adorable set of two vintage handcrafted Cast Art Industries, Inc. Kristin Haynes signed Dreamsicles cherub angel figurines sculptures which includes "Now I Lay Me" #DC406 & "Pillow Talk" #11017 made in Mexico. Dreamsicles are the highly collectible creations from American artist Kristin Haynes. Each of her sculptures are individually cast out of a plaster & stone composition & hand painted & adorned with natural floral decorations by the artisans employed by Cast Art Industries, which insures that no two figurines are exactly alike. The "Now I Lay Me" sculpture features a young girl with her stuffed plush animal kneeling next to her bed saying her bedtime prayers with a cherub adorned with a dried floral band & pink ribbon sitting atop her bed pillow & watching over her. The artist's signature & "'96 " are signed on the bottom of the sculpture. The sculpture measures approximately 4" tall, 3 3/4" long & 3 3/8" wide. The "Pillow Talk" sculpture features a cherub adorned with a dried floral band decorated with a pink ribbon on her head, leaning on a heart shaped pillow & hugging three pink hearts in her hands. She measures 2 5/8" tall, 3 3/4" long & 2 5/8" wide & is signed "Kristin 2000" on the bottom. Both pieces have the original Cast Art Industries Dreamsicles label still attached. The set is in good vintage condition with surface wear including scratches, scuffs, staining, tiny nicks, paint loss & imperfections.
