The Cape Cod Times was first published in October of 1936 as the Cape Cod Standard Times. The first issues were printed in a converted automobile dealer's garage on Elm Street in Hyannis, which is now a bus garage. This is your opportunity to have a piece of New England history of your own. These are replicas of the original Cape Cod Times newspaper rack. This box will hold approximately (150) vinyl records with the extra storage compartment. Our process: We take our vintage boxes, remove the heads of the rack, prime, paint, & add Cape Cod Times vinyl decals. There is an elevator shelf inside that holds 75 records. The front window glass is "Lexan," which is the same glass our newspaper clients use. Also attached to the window is a plastic insert which was used to hold the front page. It makes a great "Now Playing" window. 36" tall, 19" across, 17" deep 65 pounds Cape Cod Times Vinyl Record Stand Double Storage
