Heteromorph ammonites are quite rare, this one was excavated in Germany. It has been in my collection for many years & I purchased it from the husband & wife that dug it in Germany. It lived during the late Cretaceous period around 60mya. The specimen measures approximately 4.25" X 3.75" X 1.5" & weighs 9.1oz. Wonderful & rare specimen for the collector.
