Such a cute owl with all his colors! This is a Jeronimo Fuentes design from the 1950s. The brooch is an owl on a perch with a basse taille style enamel inlayed in the design. The wings are purple & black, the eyes are red, the beak & feet are mustard yellow, & the leaves are green. The back is stamped with the JF insignia, Sterling, & Hecho en Mexico.
