This man's doll hat is all hand made of black felt with a purple, maroon & white braided cotton yarn hat band that is knotted in front & forms two tassels. Embellished at the knot with a tiny piece of metal chain. It is made in the style of the 1600's (think Pilgrims or Dutch Master's paintings) but was made much later, probably early 1900's. The felt was somehow formed on each side to maintain the 'curl' & a white silk band is stitched to the interior just like a real hat. Made for a dollhouse doll & measures an inch tall with an interior circumference of about 2". Shown on a 5" dollhouse doll with a 2 1/8" head circumference where the hat would rest. Note that we happen to have two similar sized dolls & the hat is too small for one so please check your doll's head size.
