Antique Sad Iron Trivet, black iron, for holding your hot sad iron while Ironing. The old cast iron sad irons use to be heated on the wood stove. They were very heavy & very hot to use. This trivet is a 3 Footed trivet with Initial Cursive Letter E. Marked Enterprise M.F. Co. Phila U.S.A.. Best guess circa 1920s. Good used condition. Some wear. Perhaps original paint. Just as pictured. Nice decor in the laundry room, by the fire place or kitchen. Has holes above & below the, initial e, to hang.
