This item is a heavy, 14 oz pub "pint" glass with thick base, etched with a F-35 Lightning II followed by contrails that spiral around the glass. I know, it's not a full 16 oz pint, but almost everyone preferred the heavy base on this glass, & how it looks & feels, & it still holds a 12 oz beverage fine. Great for yourself, or a great gift for the pilot, maintainer, or aviation enthusiast in your life! Why sandblast? It just looks far better than other methods. The design is etched into the glass by sandblasting, so the frosted area is very strong & uniform, with a clearly defined edge you can see & feel. While it's a more involved process, I feel that sandblasting creates higher quality results compared to laser or chemical etching techniques. Options: The contrails can be blank, contain the "F-35 Lightning II" as seen, "F-35 JSF" , or can contain any custom text you may want. Just select which version you want from the variations list. If you'd like to replace the text with something simple, like a callsign, unit number, or name, just select Custom & add a note with what you'd like on each contrail. I may send you a proof of any custom design prior to making it, just to be sure I've made what you're expecting. More complex changes, such as large amounts of text, patches, additional art, or changes in the type or number of aircraft can also be done, just send me a message with what you're looking for, & I'll set up a custom order for you after working with you to put a design together.
