Walter Bosse first started producing brass animal as collectibles in the 1950s using a unique method of patina on polished brass; the patina is polished off to reveal shiny brass beneath. Very finely cast examples often got the high-polishing treatment & were fully polished instead of adding a patina. This super cute cow by Walter Bosse from the 60s is in great condition with good patina.
