Description

This vintage tie bar from Anson is etched with the initials JPC. The 1950s dangling monogrammed piece adds a sense of movement to the piece. Great vintage tie clip for all ages & occasions! Anson was founded by Olof Anderson in 1934 & began manufacturing dyes & tools for creating jewelry. During WWII, he converted his machines to help the war effort & shortened the company name to Anson. in 1948 the company switched its focus to men's fashion accessories & manufactured them in Providence, Rhode Island. in the 1960s, they incorporated women's jewelry into their line, & today, they remain highly collectible. The tie bar is in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. The metal's surface shows fine lines & marks typical of vintage pieces but nothing noticeable or distracting. The tie bar is stamped ANSON 1/20 12K G.F. The pin measures 2-1/4" tall & 2-3/8" wide & weighs 6.95 grams. The box is for display only. I try to show an accurate picture of the item in my photographs & the written description. Please note the size given in the description, as images can often appear more substantial than the actual object. I combine shipping on multiple orders!
