Calathea Burle Marx is a stunning smaller-leaved plant. in nature it is found in the rain-forests of South-America. This tells us that this plant appreciates high humidity & moist soil, but no direct sunlight. Tight closely formed rosette. SO, bright but indirect light. It likes humidity. Keep away from cold drafts or cold rooms in general. Keep the soil moist but not wet. Use well-draining soil mixes (peat-based or coco-coir & some perlite) Like many plants; its sensitive to too many minerals in tap water. Fertilize in the growing season. Sits in a 6" pot.
