Description

This stunning pendant features a lovely Petoskey stone sphere & a Leland blue sphere. The middle sphere is a stunning sterling silver bead. It was inspired by the many cairns, or rock stacking piles found in northern Michigan. The chain is Sterling silver & adjusts to 22 inches. Rock stacking has carried spiritual meaning across cultures for centuries. The act of balancing stones carries with it a practice of a physical effort of creating balance. Each rock can signify an intention of grace for thankfulness. Petoskey stones are not a natural stone but rather a fossilized coral only found in the northern portions of Michigan's lower peninsula. They are over 350 million years old. Leland blue is not a natural stone but rather a byproduct of smelting iron ore in the late 1800s. Petoskey stones are believed to be a positive energy stone.
